We're now in the process of reviewing and completing SRFI-110, sweet-expressions.

Sweet-expressions are essentially a descendent of SRFI-49, based on lessons learned in trying to use it.  Sweet-expressions also have semantically-important indentation.  However, they make some changes, e.g., the "group" operator is now just punctuation (making it consistent with all other Lisp abbreviations).  There are a few other special operators, to make them much more pleasant ot use.  Sweet-expressions build on curly-infix-expressions so that you can use infix and the f(...) notation.
